In today's on-demand world, users expect instant access to services—especially when time is critical. Whether it's booking a ride, ordering food, or seeking legal help, proximity-based matching plays a vital role in delivering fast and efficient solutions.

In this case study, I'm excited to share how we built a location-based Lawyer-Client platform that connects users in real time using intelligent location tracking and distance calculations.

🔍 The Problem

Finding the right legal help quickly can be challenging—especially in urgent situations. Traditional systems often lack:

This leads to delays, inefficiencies, and a poor user experience.

We designed a system that leverages location intelligence to connect clients with nearby lawyers instantly.

When a client creates a case:

  1. 📍 The system captures the client's location
  2. 🧮 It calculates distances to nearby lawyers
  3. 🎯 Identifies lawyers within a defined radius
  4. 🔔 Sends instant notifications to relevant lawyers

This ensures that only the most relevant and closest professionals are notified, increasing response speed and efficiency.

🗺️ The Technology Behind It

To power this feature, we used the Mapbox Matrix API, which plays a key role in location-based intelligence.
