About the Role
What You'll Be Doing
We are looking for a motivated Business Development Executive to drive client acquisition and revenue growth. You'll identify new business opportunities, build relationships with potential clients, and represent CodeX Lancers in the global market.

Key Responsibilities
Identify and qualify new business opportunities across global markets
Reach out to potential clients via LinkedIn, Upwork, email, and cold outreach
Prepare tailored proposals and presentations for prospective clients
Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure
Maintain and update CRM with leads, opportunities, and pipeline data
Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients and partners
Collaborate with the delivery team to ensure accurate scope estimation
Report weekly on sales metrics, pipeline health, and revenue forecasts
Your Qualifications
Must Have
Required Skills
- 1+ years of business development or sales experience in IT/software
- Strong understanding of software development services (mobile, web, backend)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Experience with B2B sales and client relationship management
- Proficiency with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)
- Self-motivated with a results-driven, target-oriented mindset
- Ability to understand technical requirements and communicate them clearly
- Experience on Upwork, Clutch, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator
Bonus Points
Nice to Have
- Experience selling to clients in the US, UK, Australia, or UAE
- Understanding of software project pricing models
- Background in mobile or web application sales
- Existing network in the tech startup or enterprise ecosystem
- Experience with RFP responses and proposal writing

Is this position fully remote?
Yes this is a remote-first role. You can work from anywhere. We have optional office space in Surat, India if you're local.
What is the interview process like?
It's a 4-step process: application review, HR screening call (30 mins), technical round, and a final team meeting. We aim to complete the process within 2 weeks.
What if I don't meet all the requirements?

Do you offer visa sponsorship?
Currently we hire on a contractor basis worldwide and full-time within India. We do not offer visa sponsorship at this time, but this may change as we grow.
